Warranties details for ELB Mobile Lifts and Interactive Panels can be found in the sections below. If you have any questions or are ready to request an RMA, please contact our Technical Support team with your product serial number as proof of purchase.

Emails to the Service Queue receive an automatic reply with a reference number for tracking purposes. A secondary email will be sent by a technician within 1 business day. After initial troubleshooting, if no resolution can be found, the technician will determine whether to repair or replace the product at their discretion.

3-year Standard Warranty
ELB provides a three-year (3) warranty on all our mobile lift systems: 

  • ELB ZR-680 Tilt Lift 
  • ZRW680 Motorized Mobile Tilt Lift
  • ZR680L Motorized Tilt Lift with ACS
  • YT880 Motorized Mobile Lift

This three-year (3) warranty commences on the date of delivery. If the product becomes defective during the warranty period, the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the ELB Service Technician.

The warranty is not transferable and valid only for the original customer. Proof of purchase will be validated using the serial number found on the lift system.

Dead On Arrival
ELB observes a DOA (Dead On Arrival) period of ten (10) days after delivery/installation. Should the lift system be damaged or non-functional within this period, it is considered a DOA and will be replaced by a new device free of charge. ELB must be notified of the defect within this period of ten (10) days after installation. The invoice, handover certificate (if applicable), and the serial number will be required to make a DOA warranty claim.
Warranty Limitations
The ELB lift systems are specially developed for mounting interactive displays. Do not use the lift system for other purposes. If the accessories are used improperly, that is in any way other than described in the user manual, the warranty lapses and ELB will not bear any responsibility or liability in case of material damage and/or injury. This limited warranty does not cover:

  • regular wear and tear that does not influence the functionality of the lift system.
  • installation, use, modifications or repairs to the product, conducted by third parties that are not trained or authorised by ELB to carry out these tasks. Always contact ELB if the product is malfunctioning.
  • defects or damage caused by incorrect use of the product.
  • defects caused by rough handling (including but not limited to defects caused by sharp items, bending, compression, falling, etc)
  • an environment where the lift system is regularly exposed to dust, heat, cold, moist, vapour or extreme temperatures or where flammable products and/or explosives are stored, a quick change in ambient conditions can occur or corrosion, oxidation, food or liquid spillage occurs or is affected by chemical agents.
  • external forces, such as a natural disaster, damage caused by a lightning strike, fire,  water, vandalism, excessive accumulation of dust and/or induction, etc.
  • damages incurred when returning a product to ELB that is due to insufficient or inadequate packaging or improper transportation of the product. 

 

If the lift system falls outside of the warranty period, ELB will charge for repairs, including the labour costs, a call-out fee and the material expenses. These costs will be indicated beforehand by the ELB Service Technician.

ELB is not liable for loss of data stored on the device. Make a back-up of your documents regularly to avoid data loss. Data conversion is not included in the warranty. 

Warranties on software not developed by ELB, including the operating system and/or components, can be carried over to third-party manufacturers. They are not covered by ELB.

Accessories Warranty
ELB. offers a one-year (1) warranty on panel accessories, commencing on the date of delivery. Accessories include:

  • Cables (HDMI, USB, Power, etc.) 
  • Passive Touch Pens
  • Panel Remote Control 
  • WiFi antennas (if applicable)
